Great News From #2

ANNOUNCEMENT, ANNOUNCEMENT! Great news....there is a great chance that I, #2, have stumbled upon a new obsession! It is CERTAINLY not on Courteney Cox level as yet but it might just have enough potential to reach my Sex and the City fanaticism. MAYBE. What is this new mysterious show you might ask, (I really don't care whether or not you asked, I shall be telling you anyways), it is a steamy, new, TV Land sitcom called Hot in Cleveland. It even stars a certain old lady that everyone seems to be talking about nowadays. What is her name again....shmetty light....retty kite...oh yeah BETTY WHITE! I certainly haven't caught the Betty fever like many others just as yet but I will tell you she is delightful to watch and always has the most colorful track suits on. Other stars include Valerie Bertenilli (the Italian woman in like EVERY Jenny Craig commercial), Jane Leeves (who has a cool British accent and excellent comic timing), and Wendy Malick (who has a very distinctive voice that you might recognize as Pacha's wife from The Emperor's New Groove). <---cool right?!?! I have only seen to episodes so far and I haven't even seen the pilot as yet but it is quite hilarious and the feedback so far is varied. I shall certainly be looking into this new obsession and I'll keep you posted. It's not like I really have anything better to do. Alright, #2 over and out!

Atrocity. Ruined. I could die. Yes, this is #1.

See, as you already know, I #1, am insane. I am insane over anything, anything to do with Avatar and Princess and the Frog. I am obsessed to the brim over Avatar:The Last Airbender: The Legend of Aang. I write the whole name of the best show in the world, because there have been a change in the "balance of the world". The creators of Avatar have created a spin-off of the series called "Avatar: The Legend of Korra".
The Legend of Korra takes place 70 years after the series finale of AVatar ended. (Aang is obviously dead or else Korra wouldn;t be alive) and it's a completely different story with comepletely different characters. Which means, no Prince/Firelord Zuko (No Dante Basco and his beautiful and gorgeous and sweet and sexy and the best voice in the wolrd... voice), No Sokka, Maybe mentions or appearences of Aang, no Katara, no Suki, no Azula, no Momo, and no Appa. It takes place in Republic City (a technological metropolis where there is heavy crime and an anti-bender revolt). Korra (a passionate and hotheaded and independant (sounds like Zuko, but no one can replace him) Southern water tribe girl). She has already mastered 3 of the elements (Water, Earth and Fire). SHe is learning Air from Aang and Katara's son, Tenzin. Blech! And now, she has to blah blah blah. It's apparently "more mature than the original series but has the same feeling of fun and excitement." That is basically a load of bullshit. meow. It's sad because you can't ruin a good thing. And if they ruin Avatar (the original) then I'd probably die of sadness (possible). I say all this will great sadness and sorrow and unhappiness. As you can see there is no "lol" in any sentence (besides this one).
And another issue is that they make it final in the series finale by literally writing "THE END" in big bold chinese and english characters. SO that is just a huge lie. #1 cannot be happy about this. Even is she ends up liking the series (she already likes that the Avatar is a girl and that she is a water tribe (cycle) avatar because that is sooo cool... meh) she will not like it.
It'll air on Nickelodeon in 2011. I have to watch it... but I am so sad.

Also my writing in red is totally ruined. I write in red for Prince/Firelord Zuko and the great and powerful Fire NAtion. Ugghhhh. Sigh.

Something to learn...

Well, remember how #1 said she would post up the connections. well, she is sooo sorry. She really is a dumbass. So instead of connections I'm going to rant about something that's been upsetting me. Dreams.
Dreams are the insight to the soul. They tell us our desires, our fears, our future, what our destinies are, they ruin us, they save us. Dreams are dreams. Or are theey more??? See, I think of this topic (which most likely has been mentioned a billion times before... lol) because today (today is july 24th no?) I had the strangest dream. It had to do with a boy (who was a past love) and one of my current loves (Zuko lol). He looked like Zuko (sort of. No one can be as beautiful as Zuko. They can only Dream).
But basically it had the strangest things. Like the house I was living in was a maze, the boy on the lawn, a barbeque in the back (mind you I woke up in the dream and went down and all this shiz was going on), and it was kind of... freaky. Anyway, I wish to know dreams that have freaked you out. Something that struck you. It could be a nightmare or just a dream.

Something struk me odd about this dream which is why I was thinking of this. I know this is not the normal post but I did manage to put Avatar in it. lol. Prince Zuko is the best character ever!!!!!!! And yes, I'm such a loser to say he is the love of my life. lol
Btw, Princess and the Frog is the best movie ever (if I didn;t mention this before) and Naveen is also the love of my life. Zuko and Naveen are equally awesome!!! I had to mention this because I haven't talked about Prince Naveen in a while and well it felt bad not mentioning the most amazing person ever. lol

Sorry. I went off didn't I? lol
#2 will post soon. Chau mis amigos!

Connections via #2 Whoopie!!!

Ello there mates, (sorry, I didn't know hot to greet you all). Welcome to my first post about connections. Most of the coincidental similarities I shall be discussing today connect my two favorite television shows, FRIENDS and Cougar Town. Do you think you can handle it,,,,well try. *Drum roll Please* I'll start you all off easy.
-One of the more obvious connections includes the fact that both shows have 3 men and 3 women, as the 6 main characters, who sit around and drink with no apparent need to go to work.
-Also both shows have Courteney Cox in every episode. With me so far losers, whoops I mean viewers? Good.
-Next up, thanks to a super confidential source (youtube), I know for a fact that Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Jennifer Aniston had a cobb salad pretty much every day for ten years while working on FRIENDS. In Cougar Town, Courteny Cox plays a character named Jules Cobb.
-Thea Mann, a producer of Cougar Town, guest starred on an episode of FRIENDS as a sleep clinic worker in one of the earlier seasons.
-Both shows have characters that make up and play wacky songs on the guitar (Grayson on Cougar Town and Phoebe on FRIENDS).
-Bill Lawrence, the creator of Cougar Town, was a writer on the first season of FRIENDS.
-And lastly, for now of course, everyone knows Jon Favreau from Rudy. Correct? Well if you don't look it up now and well, re-renter the world. In Season 1 Episode 7 of Cougar Town Bobby and Andy join Grayson in watching Rudy at his house. (Before I continue I MUST say how entertaining and utterly hilarious it was to watch these three grown men crying over this movie. I would recommend the episode for just this :D). In season 3, Jon Favreau guest starred on FRIENDS as Monica's love interest.
Well folks, that's all I have for now. More connections will be coming up soon. Trust me...there is LOTS more. Warning: next time we shall expand beyond the horizons of FRIENDS and Cougar Town. Get ready to compare Sex and the City (the series) and Cougar Town/Dirt. Are you pumped?!!? Well then get pumped...now....do it. GO!

Combined Post numero Dos

Bonjour!! This is #1 and soon #2 will be speaking. Since this is a combined post we'll write in a neutral color - light bleu! And the new posts that we'll be putting up (Yes, there is more) will be about connections (actors to shows and shows to another show). #1 will write about connection to Dante Basco (the voice for Zuko and Jake Long from American Dragon: Jake Long) to Zuko (Yuumm). And Avatar to American Dragon:Jake Long and Zuko to Jake. I know. Not fun... for jou!!!
#2 speaking. Wasssssssssssssss up? As previously mentioned, the next couple of individual blog posts are all about (drum roll please) CONNECTIONS! As you can imagine, as a frequent and obsessive viewer of Cougar Town and F.R.I.E.N.D.S., I often come across coincidental similarities. I know.....exciting! And you better believe I'm going to point out EACH AND EVERY one of these similarities to you, our oh so loyal no-life readers :D
#1 again. Btw, new obsession = American Dragon: Jake Long. I always used to like this show already because I thought it was funny and cute and when I was little I had a uber crush on Jake. But now that I have discovered that Dante Basco plays Jake I LOVE this show again. And the main reason I love Dante is because he plays Zuko and his voice is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo sexy. But besides his awesome role and sexy voice, he is soooo cool. Like you would not believe (he dances, sings, writes poets, acts, voice acts and etc. He's perfect). So now #1 is done. lol
And yes, #1 is insane as fudge.

The Last Airbender review by #1, the ultimate Avatar Lover. (I write in red because of the Fire Nation and bending and Zuko...etc)

(#1) Well this is what I thought about the new movie The Last Airbender. As was previously said before, I am absolutely obsessed and crazy and insane an I ran out of adjectives for the show Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Legend of Aang (yes. I am a loser and I did write the entire title... so ha!). There were many things wrong and... no it was mostly wrong. But before I go into the movie I must admit that I am literally in love with Prince Zuko from the show. He is awesome and the sexiest man alive (along with Prince Naveen (yeah I like princes) and Cristiano Ronaldo (I love watching futbol for the games... not only the guys).
So with the wrong things I'll start with the pronounciation. I know that the director wanted the Asian pronounciation, but if you're remaking a show into the movie you should at least attempt to make it like the show as much as possible.
And the martial arts techniques are different for every element but in the movie it was all waving your arms around for a tiny tiny result. Terrible.... terrible... ew.
Then the ethnicities. All mixed up. The Monks are not mixed... the Earth Nation is mixed. The Earth Nation is not Chinese. The Monks are Chinese. The Water Nation (use to calling them tribe which is why it doesn't sound right on the tongue or look right. lol) is not White. The Fire Nation (sounds and looks right) is white and they are DEFINATELY not Indian. The Water Nation is more Native-like.
And the acting of everyone (except Dev Patel (Zuko. And this has nothing to do with my love for him. It's just that he was a good actor) was so horrible I was sad. Literally depressed from this.
The plot cut out most of the most important things (can't name them now. It's late an I'm tired... lol) and it was all screwed up. Things were mixed, interpreted wrongly, and the movie was mostly the episode "The Seige of the North part 1 and 2". But even then it was made badly and incorrectly. Actually quite horribly. O, and they showed Ozai, and Iroh wasn't fat, and the Blue Spirit had hair, and Zhao didn't have his sideburns. lol
Also the times were all off. In the show the entire time from beginning to end was 10 months not 3 years. And Iroh's seige of Ba Sing Se was 600 days not 100 days. And so on and so forth. Blah blah blah.
Basically, in my opinion (the mind of an insane an obsessive, lover of Avatar who literally wishes she could watch it all day every day an who has researched shiz like this cuz she's stupid girl talking... Jes) I believe ("Aang can save the world." lol. Avatar inside joke. lol) that it was a sad remake of the series and that it coul've been sooo much better.
Now for the good (ah. you thought there was no good. lol). Zuko was recreated very very very very very well. they cast him extremely well. lol. He was cool (shame you couldn't see his scar very clearly). Aang looks perfect actually but... no. lol. Katara was alright. The Waterbenders use Tai Chi an it was sort of alright in the film. Yue was perfect perfect. Sokka (or SOHKA) was actually not good. Never mind. lol. Momo looked great. lol. And my favorite parts were all the ones with Zuko of course but one was so awesome. lol. Katara was watching Aang as he traveled to the Spirit World and all of a sudden Zuko comes an they fight (and I loved their fight). Then when he defeats her he carries her to the tree, rests her down and touches her face and pulls a hair away from her face and tells her "I can't go home... unless I have the Avatar." I loved that part (because I always wanted Katara and Zuko to get together in the show because they had such chemistry an they seemed perfect together in the show. I ship them in canon because there were signs in every single season and countless episodes) And I also love the part where he has Aang and he's just talking to himself while Aang is unconscious. I thought that was perfect. I also just love every part where Zuko is in it. He is great in the movie. The best part, in my opinion.
I'm sorry about this rant-like message but it just had to be done. Next one won't be so serious... Sorry. lol

Individual blog from #2 (Warning, it's about Cougar Town)!!

Greetings fellow low lifes, this first individual blog is going to cover something very close to my heart, ABC's new hit comedy Cougar Town. Cougar Town, cougar town, cougar town. That's all everyone is talking about nowadays and by "everyone," I mean me. Now, as mentioned previously I am OBSSESED with Courteney Cox. BUT, this show is fabulous and it would be even without Courteney (granted, Courteney certainly makes it more fantasmical but kudos to the rest of the cast)! Not only is it heart-felt and hilarious, it's also kind of informative. I bet a lot of us never really consider the hardships the 40-something year old divorcee faces. Trust me, I cannot say enough about this amazing show. The writing is brilliant, and the execution, GENIUS! What's my favorite episode? Well, I am so glad that you asked internet buddies. I would have to say epsiode 9, "Here Comes My Girl" ORRRRRR the season finale, "Finding Out." Although these two are my favorite (both literally caused me to fall out of my stable chair and roll around resembling a maniac, all the while streaming tears from laughing so hard), I would recommend every single episode of this EPIC show! Check it out, check it out, check it out. Well that's all I have to say for today, you better believe I'll be raving about this incredible show at a point in the near future. Peace for tonight you asexual mangoblins! (YES, a Cougar Town reference).

The Beginning

Two people... A billion obsessions. Brought together by the fact that no one likes us (crying). And now we, the losers, will talk to people who are bored enough to pay attention to our rants and incredulous stupidity over things that few people love.
For example, I (#1) will talk about Avatar:The Last Airbender (show because the movie supposedly SUCKEDDDD) and also my favorite movie of all time The Princess and the Frog.
And I (#2) will talk about, well multiple things including Courteney Cox (possibly the greatest actress ever brought onto this planet) and the productions she's starred in, Sex and the City (Go Kristin Davis, woot woot), Desperate Housewives, and much MUCH more!
So F.R.I.E.N.D.S (<---- Courteney Cox joke), we leave you with this example of what happens when you have absolutely no freaking life. #2 wants to leave you all with a smiley face :D
